WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT TO EXPECT

How do I get started?

Simply fill out the inquiry form on my website, and I’ll reach out to schedule a free 15-minute phone call. This gives us a chance to see if we’re the right fit for each other. If it feels like a good match, we’ll set up an intake appointment. After that, you’ll receive an invitation to my client portal, where everything from billing to scheduling and intake forms is handled. Once you sign a few documents digitally and complete the intake form, you’ll be all set to begin your journey!

Where is my office?

I’m fortunate to have my office overlooking the beautiful Cape Cod Canal, located above Atlantic Engineering. When you arrive, you’ll see a sign that says "Enter Here." Head upstairs (or check in with the front desk if you prefer), and you’ll find a cozy waiting room with chairs, books, and a coffee machine—feel free to make yourself comfortable. I’ll come to meet you when it’s time for your appointment. If you prefer, we can even take our session outdoors for a walking session along the Cape Cod Canal path. Just let me know in advance!

How should I prepare?

Come exactly as you are. Wear something comfortable, and know that this space is for you—it's a safe, welcoming environment where you can feel supported. I affirm and welcome all individuals, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. The most important thing is to feel comfortable and know this is a place where you can fully be yourself.

What if I need to do telehealth?

While I prefer in-person sessions, I understand that circumstances like weather or other barriers can arise. I offer telehealth services through my client portal. You’ll receive a one-time secure link that can be accessed via smartphone, computer, or tablet. For the best experience, ensure you have privacy and a stable internet connection. One tip: lighting a candle or incense can help create a calming, peaceful environment for your virtual session.

How do I pay?

I accept various insurances, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim, and United Behavioral Health. For those paying out of pocket, my rate is $150 per session. I can also provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m committed to making mental health care accessible to everyone.
